Site Update - May 2012
Whilst using 3photoshop.com you may experience some minor periods of downtime and restricted access between the 31 May and 5 June 2012.
During this time we will be migrating the site to a new server, which has the potential to cause a short period of downtime. We will also be suspending the creation of new accounts, our web store, forums, and commenting system so that when we copy the database over it will be completely up to date, and therefore cause as little disruption as possible in the long term.
This will go unnoticed by the vast majority of our customers, and the site will continue working as normal. If you have any queries please contact us using the site contact form (which will be working as normal) or our Facebook or Twitter pages.
This update is part of our on-going development to increase the efficiency, load times and uptime of our site. We welcome any feedback.
***UPDATE: Monday 4 June 2012***
Thanks to everyone for your patience.
We're now past the tricky bits, as the domain name is now pointing towards our new IP Address and servers. I can happily report that the process went extremely well (hope I'm not speaking too soon), much better than it did with some of my smaller sites late last week. I have some work to do with our webstore, so I'll be turning user interaction (comments, new users signing up etc) back on during today, with the goal of everything being back up by the end of the 4th.
Thanks again for your patience.
